capilano bridge

Ok so we have lived in Vancouver since July and fell in love with it instantly but it isn’t until this month that we really started to do all the fun things that Vancouver has to offer. We started with Capilano suspension bridge. The Capilano suspension bridge was built in 1889 and has been developed a lot since then into an attraction. The bridge is 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano river. I wasn’t expecting it to move when we walked on it so be ware if your scared of heights it may be a little frighting20150505_105139

There is more to it than just the bridge though. There is a cliff walk that takes you through rainforest vegetation. And also treetops adventures, a series of footbridges that are attached to eight 30 tonne 250 year old Douglas furs, with viewing platforms that make for a great adventure through the rainforest.
