Chickpea sun dried tomato burgers

I really fancied making something for dinner but couldn’t decide on what. There were so many choices! I’m not that great at making decisions! I wanted to make something I hadn’t made before so I looked through my recipe books and on the Internet and I decided on a different type of vegan burger. the Internet gave me some inspiration but I couldn’t find a Recipee that I liked. I got a little annoyed and said “screw it” I’m making up my own Recipee and see what happens. They turned out really tastey!

Ingrediants:-

1can of chickpeas
2 carrots, grated

1/2 a zucchini, grated

1/2 a jar of sundried tomatos

Siriachi sauce around one tablespoon

1/2 cup oats

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 Teaspoon ground cumin

Flax eggs- 2  tablespoons flax with 6 tablespoons water

Method:-

So first I boiled the chickpeas for five minutes to heat them up and soften them slightly then put them in the food processor along with the grated carrots and zucchini, add the oats, flax egg and blend, add the Siriachi sauce, ground cumin and salt, blend again. This creates a thick purée that you then shape into balls big enough to be veggie burgers. Then spoon in to veggie burger sized balked and put them on a plate and place in the freezer for 20 minutes to harden slightly. Then they are ready to fry. I made 6 burgers from the mixture
