Chia Pudding! We have been vegan for three years and this is the first time we have made Chia Pudding! Whats that all about. If you have never had Chia Pudding before then you may find it a little strange. We did and first but now its a good strange!
Chia seeds contain calcium, magnesium and phosphorus and is a great source of omega-3 fats.
We made chocolate and peanut butter chia pudding then combined the two into a glass. Here is how we made it.
2x 1/4cup chia seeds
2 separate cups almond milk
2 tablespoon all natural peanut butter, we used crunchy
1 tablespoon coco powder
Hand full of walnuts
Agave syrup to taste
We started off with 2 bowls, pour a cup of milk in to each bowl, in the first bowl whisk in 2 tbsp peanut butter until well combined. The second bowl whisk in 1 tbsp of coco powder. Then pour in 1/4 cup of chia seeds in to each bowl. Mix. Cover and put in the fridge overnight or at least 6 hours. When ready, layer in a glass, we poured some agave in between the peanut butter layer and the coco layer and placed some walnuts on top. You can chose other options such as almonds,cashews,fruit.
