Vegetable pie


I remember when We were teenagers and mum would make us dinner and she would make us vegetable pie. We loved it, now that we are vegan we make the same thing but vegan and its still delish! Thanks mama


2 small-medium sweet potato

1 cup of peas

1 small onion


1 tbsp corn starch

6 tbsp nutritional yeast

3/4 cup almond milk

1 tsp dijon mustard

2 tsp onion powder

pie filling in pan


First of all chop your desired vegetables and cook them, they don’t have to be fully cooked as they will go in the oven later too.

For the sauce in a medium sauce pan mix together the milk and the corn starch. Add the nutritional yeast and keep stirring add the dijon and onion powder keep stirring until it thickens.

Then mix the vegetables and the sauce together and pour into the pie tin. Roll out the pastry and then place it in top of the pie dish Place in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes. Then serve!
