Cauliflower crust pie pizza- Anti-candida

So we are on a Anti candida cleanse. The Candida diet is a low-sugar, anti-inflammatory diet that promotes good gut health and eliminates the sugars that feed a Candida overgrowth. The diet includes non-starchy vegetables, some low sugar fruits, non-glutinous grains, fermented foods, and healthy proteins.

We decided to make a cauliflower crust pizza, it’s our first time so we were not sure how it was going to turn out but it was perfect! and not too hard to make.


1 cauliflower

2 tablespoons flax meal with 2 tbsp water

1/2 oats flour

pinch of Himalayan salt

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp dried oregano


Pre heat oven to 400 F and line the baking sheet with parchment. Cook the cauliflower and let cool for 10 minutes then put in food processor and blend. Put in your kitchen towel/cheese cloth or vegetable bag which is what we used and drain out all the water as much as you possibly can. In the mean time in a separate bowl prepare your flax eggs by combings 2 tbsp flax meal with 3 tbsp water let sit for 5 minutes and then combine the cauliflower puree with the flax, oat flour, Himalayan salt and oregano. It will form a dough to be rolled out!

Place in the oven for 30 minutes then take out and flip and put back in for 15 minutes, Then take out and out the toppings on and put back in for 5-10 minutes.

Homemade pesto:

2 cups basil

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup walnuts

1 tbsp lemon juice

3 tbsp water- more if needed

2 tsp onion powder


Place all the ingredients in the food processor and blend

pesto This is the perfect topping for a pizza! we love pesto it’s so tasty usually we would put nutritional yeast in but since we are in the Candida cleanse we chose to omit it.
